The Green Daydream
I am very passionate about protecting wildlife and the environment. I aim to document the world through my photography in a way that inspires people and motivates people to care more about the planet. I believe that educating people about the world is the key to inspiring them to care about it. I also take pictures of historical sites. I believe it is important to preserve aspects of life that are no longer present. I currently use a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ100.

Project: Hadrian's Wall
Hadrian's Wall was built by the Emperor Hadrian as a defensive fortification in Roman Britain. It was started in AD 122 and was more or less completed within 6 years. The Wall is made up of forts, turrets and milecastles which were manned with Roman troops. There was a milecastle built every Roman mile, and two turrets were built equally spaced on either side of the milecastle. The Wall is roughly 84 miles long, from Wallsend on the east coast to Bowness-on-Solway on the west coast.

Landscape: The Farne Islands
The Farnes are a group of islands off the coast of Northumberland, England. They are roughly 3 miles east of the mainland, and consist of about 20 separate islands. The islands are home to many species of bird (including puffins, guillemots, cormorants and terns), but are also frequented by atlantic grey seals (see Mammals post).
